Whenever you hear about medicine, you probably think of science. However, *medicine is an art--not a science--for a reason*. While modern medicine has been using more and more scientific research, it still doesn't mainly follow the tried, tested and true *scientific method*. Unlike the *objective* "cold, hard" science of biology, since there are many *subjective* decisions made in medicine, the people in charge would naturally *conspire* in order to fit their *agendas*. As a result, medicine is one of the more *corrupt* fields. This is how many harmful chemicals--like glyphosate in *Monsanto's* Roundup--still pass medical approval despite obvious setbacks. And this is why doctors usually overcharge, say a patient has more illnesses than in reality, and prescribe way more pills than necessary, because they're highly corrupt and collude with pharmacies. So, medicine isn't always reliable.
