Toyota Sienna vs Tesla Model S, which is Safer?

I am so sick and tired of Elon Musk blatantly lying to prop up his companies, especially Tesla, for ill-gotten gains.

As a result, I've created this video using a lot of research: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QtVcmRPOkJY

I would like to spread the news, so I'd like it to be featured everywhere. You may also share this story with others.

Elon Musk lies about his Tesla cars being the safest. Elon Musk keeps boasting how Tesla cars are the safest, from looking at only the government's NHTSA crash tests. The IIHS is more credible for doing more realistic and demanding tests. Watch my Dateline frontal crash test videos and you'll know. Elon Musk of Tesla just flat out lied about the Model S getting 5.4 stars in the NHTSA test, because the highest rating is 5. Actually, when including IIHS and Euro NCAP tests, the Model S didn't even get the highest ratings! It has missed the IIHS' Top Safety Pick since it was first tested in 2016 because it only got an Acceptable out of Good rating in the driver's side frontal small overlap test. The passenger side was not tested. For the small overlap test, we'll compare the overpriced Model S to normal midsize and compact cars.

In this first test of the Model S, notice how the driver's window flies out, causing a safety hazard. What if a real person's arm flies out? Would it be sliced off? That's so ridiculous. It doesn't even happen with econoboxes. Also notice how the crumple zone fails to soften the blow, so the car violently comes to an abrupt stop when the A-pillar hits the barrier. It appears that the frame rail completely misses the barrier. Additionally, the seatbelt pretensioner fails to do its job, causing the dummy to hit the A-pillar. So, the 2016 Model S gets only an Acceptable. After the test, Tesla offered to fix the seatbelt pretensioner. So, it was retested the following year. In this second test, it does even worse. The wheel actually intrudes into the footwell, causing leg injuries. At least the window doesn't fly out again. So, the 2017 Model S also gets an Acceptable. Keep in mind the Model S costed a whopping $68,000 and was non-negotiable.

In addition, there have been plenty of fires at the Tesla factory in Fremont! That never happened when Toyota owned the very same factory, called NUMMI, back in 1998. It also doesn't help that Teslas are routinely dismissed from recommendation by Consumer Reports because of terrible reliability, likely spending more time in shops than on the road just like British and Italian cars.

Tesla Model S Is not a Luxury Car! https://www.motorauthority.com/news/1086476_tesla-model-s-isnt-a-luxury-car-so-stop-comparing-it-to-them

For the Civic and Accord from Honda all the way back from 2013, notice how the engine compartment crumples, attenuating a lot of kinetic energy and gradually slowing the car down. Also notice how the driveshaft or exhaust dives down, meaning that the engine is pushed under the car, as is the case with all modern front-engined cars. That contrasts with Elon Musk's lies that engines in normal cars are pushed into the passenger compartment, in order to trick dumb people into buying his Tesla cars. As expected, the Civic and Accord totally ace this test, getting the top rating of Good. The same applies to the 2014 Subaru Impreza, 2015 Subaru Legacy, 2015 Subaru Outback, and 2016 Toyota Prius. One can thank Honda's Advanced Compatibility Engineering, ACE, Subaru's Ring-Shaped Reinforcement Frame, and Toyota's STAR Safety System! For Subaru, there is actually rebar inside the pillars! Subarus basically have a built-in roll cage! Check out the links below.

Best of all, the price-negotiable Impreza costed only $17,895, Civic $17,965, Accord $21,680, Legacy $21,695, Prius $24,200, and Outback $24,895, all for less than half the Model S price. Reliable bulletproof Japanese cars for the win!

If you still think that Tesla is safest, check out my beloved Toyota Sienna all the way back from 1998 outperforming even Mercedes and Volvo! Toyota Sienna Crash Test Commercial. Check out my other video on why the Toyota Sienna is the Best Car Ever! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OW5lUCcUG0g

Unsurprisingly, the Sienna (ditto the Honda Odyssey) also has an average recorded death rate of zero, according to the IIHS. This means most years, there is not a single fatality in the Sienna or Odyssey minivan. https://www.thecarconnection.com/news/1061361_at-your-own-risk-these-vehicles-have-the-highest-death-rates

They only have an estimated-from-confidence-interval average annual death rate of 8-9 people if 1 million people drove Siennas or Odysseys. https://www.thecarcrashdetective.com/safest-minivan-sienna-odyssey/
Sienna Beats the F-150 in a Crash! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VwJq4cEuqIY
In comparison, the Model S and Model X have an estimated death rate of 41.5 people per million vehicle years, 3 times more dangerous than luxury cars from established automakers, and 5 times less safe than the Sienna or Odyssey. https://medium.com/@MidwesternHedgi/teslas-driver-fatality-rate-is-more-than-triple-that-of-luxury-cars-and-likely-even-higher-433670ddde17
Best of all, the 1998 Sienna costed just $21,255, 2015 Sienna $28,700, and 2015 Odyssey $28,975, again, all less than half that of a Model X. Of course, the latter 2 won the coveted IIHS Top Safety Pick awards. The 1998 didn't get the award simply because it didn't exist yet back then.

Postscript: Worst of all, childish immature Elon Musk actually threw a personal temper tantrum and lashed at the IIHS, rather than accepting its own mistakes like a mature man, which all reputable companies like Toyota and Honda would do. https://www.thedrive.com/news/12203/tesla-model-s-rated-acceptable-in-iihs-crash-test-tesla-lashes-back

Moral of the Story?
Get a practical reliable Sienna or an Odyssey instead of an overhyped, overpriced, unreliable Tesla.

Everyone into crash testing knows that the IIHS is way better than NHTSA. Besides the Toyota Sienna, Honda Odyssey, Toyota Highlander, and Honda Pilot, the Subaru Outback is also safer than the Tesla Model S and X. According to the IIHS, the Outback has a much lower death rate than the Teslas according to the study by Medium: https://medium.com/@MidwesternHedgi/teslas-driver-fatality-rate-is-more-than-triple-that-of-luxury-cars-and-likely-even-higher-433670ddde17. Additionally, Tesla headlights are rated Poor and child seat anchors rated Marginal by the IIHS.
