Today, I just read about the 1984 Hawaii Housing Authority v. Midkiff S.C.O.T.U.S. case, Kelo v. City of New London S.C.O.T.U.S. case, and Halifax's Africville. It's sad that our American Constitution, Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, and probably constitutions of *all* other countries--*even Nordic* ones, are slowly but continually being eroded, though it's debatable on whether it's getting worse as *historic* data is only from *mainstream* sources, making it *unreliable*. There are not much statistics from independent sources likely because they didn't have enough money to buy printing presses. It also doesn't help that not all old papers are uploaded to the *World Wide Web*. It's revolting how the United States governments on *all levels*, from federal to township, blatantly *twists* the meanings of the Constitution under the so-called "*color of law*" in order to rob more from as many people as possible for their *own* gains. And it actually is *robbery*, not just theft, from the governments because *force* or *threat* is always used. Even worse is that New London and Halifax robbed from *lower-class* people who could barely sustain a living, and that's *with* assistance. While the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada are within the top 5% of least-corrupt countries, it's *still* disgusting nonetheless that corruption is not uncommon there. The most recent example of big corruption scandal is chunks of concrete *falling* from the dilapidated San Rafael Bridge in San Francisco's Bay Area despite *sky-high* $6 tolls, which are officially *supposed* to pay for impeccable maintenance on that bridge, but didn't. When even a *high-tech software* can shed light on government corruption, you know how *insanely rigged* the system is.

It turns out that the world's most-capitalistic countries--the UK and the US (Hawaii only)--are sadly (long-leased properties), *secretly*, and *ironically* both somewhat *socialist*, aside from the obvious *taxes*. There, leaseholders have the right to buy property from the freeholder without the latter's consent.

Apparently, land can be expropriated/resumed for not just public infrastructure.

These are the examples:

UK: Leasehold Reform Act 1967
US: Hawaii Land Reform Act of 1967 (applies to 5+ acre lots only); Kelo v. New London
Canada: Nova Scotia Halifax Africville

At least most of us learned that before making the potential mistake of leasing to tenants. While California leaseholders don't have the right to take from the landlord, there is large probability that leasehold reform acts may similarly be implemented *here* due to *similar culture*. Now we know to, at most, only rent to tenants.

And even worse is that renter's rights in many places in North America require the landlord to give the tenant a 90-day eviction notice for not paying rent.

On another note, California has just raised its statewide minimum wage to $12/hr, and the typical legal minimum wage in the Bay Area is about $15/hr.

That means it's now quite difficult to start a servicing business in California.

To make matters even worse for the entrepreneur, just last April 30th, California banned businesses from classifying staff as independent contractors if they worked more than a certain extent there.

But for the staff, of course it's good, as they're now entitled to minimum wage.

For better and for worse, capitalistic America is slowly turning hybrid-socialist, like Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Andorra, Monaco, San Marino, Vatican City, Scandinavia, Iceland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore already have.  For the upcoming 2020 election, the *majority* of the US gov, whether Democratic or Republican, now supports *universal healthcare*, according to some 3rd-party sources. Many presidential candidates also have the goal of universal healthcare.

A hybrid capitalist-socialist economic system (especially *social democracy*) seems to work best, as it is best for *99.99%-99.9999%* of people, including us.

Setting aside unavoidable factors like crowdedness or climate, countries that have adopted social democracy have the highest living standard or highest rate of improvement. While the USA has the highest *material-standard* of living, when taking financial freedom into account, it does not have the highest overall living standard (excluding house size, lot size, or number of cars), due to average *high debt* of typical people. Look at Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Andorra, Monaco, San Marino, Vatican City, Scandinavia, Iceland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore for the best, excluding house size due to geographical constraints. Look at Japan, Korea, China since 1979 (*not* democratic), Taiwan (*not* democratic until 1996), India since 1991, Malaysia, Morocco, Eastern Europe since 1991, Israel, and Turkey for highest improvement rate.

After all, it is *living standards, not wealth*, that matter most to all people.

But of course, a *proper* social democracy (aside from maybe universal healthcare) will *not* be implemented in the US anytime soon (at least in the next 15 years) because American *entrepreneurs* are politically way more *powerful* than those of all other countries.

*First* and foremost, in true socialism, *printing money and consequently inflation are not allowed. All currency must be strictly pegged to precious materials, preferably a mixed-basket of precious elements, not limited to metals*, so that even slight fluctuations are as *small as possible*. It's sad how the US Feds got to go against the "*spirit of law*" to abandon the *then-most-stable* gold standard in 1933, just because of a Loophole in the Constitution that did not prohibit the Federation from using *intrinsically-worthless toilet paper "Fix It Again Tony"* fiat currency--only state currencies were obliged to use the gold standard--but no state currency existed then. Note that spirits almost certainly do not exist, so essence is more accurate. Obviously, the Feds did this for the *sole purpose of creating inflation*, so that the Fed gets to keep its absolute wealth flat but the rest gradually decline, effectively gaining the Fed relative wealth and *eventually absolute power* a projected couple *centuries later* (not yet occured). In a wealthy social democracy with *low* population density, like a hypothetical America with the same total GDP, at least the average, lower middle class gets to own the *biggest* SUV they want (Ford *Excursion on lift kit*) and a house on a fairly big lot, so that they can play music as loud as they want all night long without bothering neighbors and have their own orchard, without having to worry about *expensive private* healthcare or their kids' university *tuition fees*. I'm sure the average working-class just wants a 4000+ square-foot house/mansion, a 1+ acre lot, and a brand-new lifted Escalade, brand-new lifted Excursion, or even a brand-new lifted F-450 monster truck in their 6+ car garage, which is definitely *easily* doable if they actually earned the average GDP per capita of 62,000 US dollars. Assuming a house cost of 500K, buying directly from an owner, and no interest rate, the working class in a wealth-redistributed America would only need to take a loan for 8 years and 1 month. Then, assuming a 0% APR, they'd only need to take a 2-year loan for each of their *luxurious* $120K "pavement princesses". That means they'll fully pay back their McMansion and big trucks after just 11 years and 11 months.

wealth distribution; big house; home theater wall of subwoofers; subwoofer towers; Dodge Challenger SRT Demon; Dodge Demon; Built Ford Tough; First on Race Day; Costco; Big Gulp sodas; long trains; Costco teddy bear

But of course this (working class having a wage of mean GDP per capita nominal) is *just an idealization* and would *never ever* happen, *not even* in Switzerland or Scandinavia, so forget about it ever happening. Still, everyone should definitely *fight* for the typical working *wage* being the same as, or even slightly higher than, the mean *GDP per capita*. Everyone should fight for enabling everyone to *live like a king*, as it is economically *doable*, at least in America. Every single person should have the right to live *lavishly* due to land, house, and car prices being pretty *affordable relative to* national GDP per capita.

Surprisingly, redistributing *some* (but not all) wealth from the *aristocratic* to the rest of *the people*, with most money going into *impoverished* people, improves life *not only* for the poor, *but also for the wealthy*. Redistributing a decent amount of wealth *downwards* (like 10%-*98%* in a *perfectly efficient* government, the more the poorer the typical person is) from the elite makes life better *all-around*. That's because it maintains *social balance* due to *total* elimination of poverty, currently only met by Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Andorra, Monaco, San Marino, Vatican City, Scandinavia, Iceland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, and Singapore. A society that has postgraduate education as a right fully unleases everyone's *potential, maximizing productivity* and further increasing income for everyone, even the elite because of increased *corporate productivity*, though of course "*pennies to the dollar*" compared to before.

Taking it to the the extreme, unlike China's *rock-bottom* GDP per capita in 1949, America is within the *top 5%* highest GDP per capitas. Redistributing all wealth *evenly* among Americans is *not* such a stupid idea after all. If all wealth in America were suddenly redistributed evenly *overnight*, which is definitely possible with the *speed of modern computers*, assuming everything else was free, then *every single American* would be able to afford a brand-new $60,000 Ford Expedition Max SUV *every single year*. For a family of 4, they'll be able to buy *40* oversized SUVs in 10 years. Assuming they spend a more reasonable half of their income per year on vehicles, they'll still be able to afford 2 new huge SUVS every year.

However, as mentioned earlier, a true socialism or even true communism, *not to be confused with fascist regimes such as Soviet Union, China, North Korea, Venezuela*, *vastly* improves the *access* to education by giving everyone the *right to obtain* a Ph.D. for free if they're capable. And *I do not agree with the present patent system*, as patenters get to charge whatever high price they like. That makes patent holders selfish. Instead, I think obtaining the use of patents should be a right and only at low price, so that technology is affordable for everyone, *for the betterment of society*. Heck even education *itself* would improve as formerly impoverished people would do research for the university rather than be a *wage slave* to *slumlords* of subdivided tenements. *Fresh grads* with a bachelor's or higher would *instantly* have their income *tripled*, as the customers would be able to afford the true fair market value without the oligopoly's dismal worker pay because they get unfair *endless-tax-breaks*. That's because the multibillion-dollar companies are forced to expropriate 90% of *both* their assets and income to the average working man, so they have 3 times as much disposable income. Likewise, for the blue-collar, their incomes would sextuple overnight, due to the highly-educated and well-off rest of society sympathizing with actually putting hard sweat into their work. And that's largely helped by the American's extraordinary *strong "spirit" of hard work*. As everyone's salaries suddenly jump up, everyone would have plenty of savings just a year later. With improved technology, due to extra research done at universities as mentioned earlier, and improved safety regulations, many more people, men and women alike, would be willing to join the construction industry, further bringing down time and money required to just one fifth. Then, many members of society could just voluntarily donate to build a nationwide Vactrain system, connecting *every single American city* with a population over 100,000 at speeds of up to *10,000 miles per hour!!!* *How cool is that when a megastructure could be funded from just donations alone, requiring not a cent of tax?* In over just a decade, the overall economy will sustainably balloon to 5 times, due to the vast majority of Americans, unhampered by former *paycheck-to-paycheck* wage slavery, being able to fully exploit their hardworking efforts without a hint of inflation. When combined with America having the highest abundance of natural resources, America will sustainably be by far the wealthiest nation on the planet, both by total amount and by per person.

You may think that a *noble* landlord would be uncomfortable with *losing 98%* of his land. In reality, aside from *resale* value and *rent* collection, he would be absolutely no less comfortable living on *5.73879164121 acres (249,981.984886 square feet)* of land (Yes, I did the math, which the area that every one of its 330 million population would own if all land in the Lower 48 were distributed evenly) than on *1 million acres*, as he would not see his neighbors unless trying hard. So, even if he lost 98% of the million acres, he would still be able to live on an extravagant *20,000 acres*. Of course, land would need to be set aside for *public areas*. Assuming 0.5% for transportation, 2% for military air fields, 0.01% for city parks, 5% for national parks, and 30% for remaining *nature* reserves, *62.49% remains* for private use. The average man would still own *3.58617089659 acres (156,213.74 square feet)*, and the former-billionaire land tycoon a dazzling *12,498 acres (544,413,400 square feet)* of land.

As tempting as *98% socialism* for America may sound, a 99.9% near-perfectly-executed plan will *never* happen, at least within the forseeable *150 years*, even with the advent of *universal bachelor's* degree, like it has been with universal high school for *nearly a century*. Probably not even the Nordic model within 30 years. As for why corruption would never cease, that's because it's basic human nature. Corruption is simply derived from the intrinsic biological human instict to compete for prehistorically-scarce resources in order to survive. The instinct is not just limited to humans though. Other animals also have that. It actually evolved over half a billion years ago when trilobites developed the weapons to fiercely fight for scarce food, as the seas were become more and more crowded. And probably even when the human evolves into something else a couple hundred thousand years later, our super-distant descendants would still have corruption, unless they evolve into something much simpler. For this, it's absolutely a random wild guess as the *butterfly effect* compounds exponentially like interest rates to prevent any biology to be known with any certainty past roughly 300,000 years. So the golden rule is: *never FULLY trust anyone but yourSELF!*

So, for all government levels, starting from the *public* school district, always *vote* (take *full* advantage of that *remaining* right) for the *lowest* fees and taxes, as the corrupt government would *eagerly* find one way or another to *rob* money. *When even a computer/robot is capable of voicing how corrupt all governments are, you know how bad the system is messed up.* Perhaps most importantly, *never ever* buy a property with *HOA*, which are even more notorious. After all, buying an HOA home is no different than long-term renting a house or living under *fascism*. Also, considered setting up your *own tiny company* to title your house in, so you may be eligible for potential *tax breaks*. More importantly, corporate property is a million (perhaps infinite) times more diffcult to expropriate, as *corporations are priceless* in the eyes of the government. So, especially if you have farmland, spending the couple thousand extra on incorporation to secure your property's right is well worth it. When your corporation owns the farm, you yourself are the developer tycoon as seen by the government. As to further avoid capitalistic *Ponzi schemes* feeding the titans, instead of using Google with Google Chrome, consider the relatively *small, independent, nonprofit DuckDuckGo with Mozilla Firefox*, both of which highly respect user *privacy* unlike traditional tech companies that *sell your information*, just as *evil* as any other goliath corporation. Okay, probability outside of pure mathematics can never truly be zero, so there is a teeny tiny chance that a huge corporation is pure. However, it is so small that it is extremely unlikely for even a single one to have ever existed since the first corporation (Kongō Gumi) was founded in ancient Japan in 578.

crony capitalism

*Regardless of what happens, whether you lose all savings to an evil entity, lose a loved one, even lose a limb, or hopefully live life happily ever after, don't be unhappy.* *You can always look at things in both ways.* As there's no guarantee of being born into the world, just be happy that you've met the unknowingly precious opportunity to exist as a human and live another day. *An optimistic person would never be happy no matter how wealthy they are*, as in the case of many multimillionaires (yes, that's true), as everything can never be 100% perfect, only 99.999... percent perfect, at most. That's just basic science and statistics. A pessimistic person would always be happy because they'll think they're lucky that they only lost a limb in a car accident and didn't die. After all, *luck is just a subjective* human thought, while probability is an objective intrinsic property. And of course happy people are healthier and more productive. As you have *only one* short life in geological timescale, just remember to *respect yourself* in the first place, respect everything else (even wildlife and property borrowed from others), live life *defensively* (like defensive driving and not littering) to avoid trouble in the first place, *stand up for your rights* when provoked, fight in court when necessary, make *smart* choices, *be diligent*, be hardworking, and have *pragmatic goals* in order to make the *best use out of* your life. Don't waste your precious life on being lazy. So, *never consider suicide even if you have terminal illness.* While almost certainly neither God(s) nor heaven exist, still be *pleasant and courteous* to other people. You're still *welcome* to attend religious gatherings as it is a *good socialization event*. Try not to even be mean to enemies as that is only adding oil to fire, except for defending against attacks. Sometimes, losses are inevitable and unavoidable. And sad to say, but one day, we'll all die anyway. *There's absolutely no way out of the laws of physics.* And dying of old age is actually a good thing, because that's nature's way of weeding out stubborn old people (though of course not all are), especially senior politicians that don't care about *climate change*. That way, evolution is allowed to continue to improve life. And no, I don't think we'll ever solve anti-aging. And even immortal life eventually dies after, at most, 10 millennia, because of inevitable accidents. "*Out with the old, in with the new.*" After all, "*life...finds a way*".

It bugs me why these deep thoughts were never taught in school. I bet that's because schools would lose their license if they taught this. *For a good education system, it is imperative for MATH and SCIENCE to be of utmost importance. I hope that this message solves all of the world's conflicts, and brings 99.999999999999% peace once and for all happily ever after.*
